Where to get updates? Thing

Where to get updates to Thing 1.27?
Either at the local Maus mailbox, bulletin board or...

Well OK ... Here are the 'official' update sources that are 'serviced' by
me (Thomas Binder) directly:

  Post

Send a blank disk together with 2,20 DM (or -- depending on the size --
also 3 DM)-stamped SAE from Germany or two International Reply Coupons
    from abroad.
If anyone sends a disk only I will treat this as a donation.

    My address: Thomas Binder
                Johann-Valentin-May-Straße 7
                64665 Alsbach-Hähnlein
                Germany

 Email

If you can receive large encoded binaries, Thing is available on request
   and at my discretion from:

   My addresses:
                gryf@hrz.tu-darmstadt.de
                binder@rbg.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de

Please inform me whether it would be better to send a UUE file or a
   MIME-attachment (base 64).

  BBS/Mailbox

    Maus Heidelberg - 0 62 01 / 47 72 75

Guest download of the currently available version is allowed from the
    public program section.

  FTP

The following FTP Servers hold the latest archives:

    ftp.uni-kl.de in the directory /pub/atari/shell or pub/atari/incoming

Irrespective of the source of supply the archives always have the
following names:

 THINxxxD.LZH ... German version x.xx
 THINxxxE.LZH ... English version x.xx

You should also be able to find ThingIcn there; the name of the archive is:

 TICNxxxD.LZH ... German version x.xx
 TICNxxxE.LZH ... English version x.xx

The Maus Net BBS/mailboxes are always a good source. The numbers of the
Maus Net BBS/mailboxes along with many other interesting programs can
be found in the 'Atari Info Pages' maintained in German by Manfred Ssykor.
