Introduction: Conditions of use Thing

Thing is Shareware which means you can evaluate it for up to four weeks
free of charge. It is fully usable, though notes on the desktop reminds
you that registration is required ;-) Besides this, the only restriction
is that any window positions that may have been saved will not be opened
automatically at start-up; instead a corresponding alert note appears.
After the evaluation period has expired you must register and pay the
Shareware fee of 30,00 DM or £16, or delete your copy.

The update from Thing 1.2x is free of charge, but that from Thing 1.0x on
the other hand is not. If you wish to keep on using new version 1.2x and
were registered only for 1.0x, you have to pay an update fee of 15,00 DM
or £6. If you do not agree to this, you are free to keep on using the old
version of course.

English language users should also read SUPPORT.TXT for UK/Sterling
registration details.

Thing may be distributed freely in non-commercial channels. Thing may
NOT under ANY circumstances be included in CD-ROM collections or on
magazine cover/subscriber disks etc. without my prior written permission.
Thing and its documentation must always remain together, complete with all
its files and documentation. Changes to the program and/or documentation
is forbidden.

The English Ming translation has been licensed for inclusion with Milan
computer systems -- thanks to Ali Goukassian for doing the right thing!
