Thank you for purchasing The GFA BASIC Toolkit, Volume 1. We hope that this
manual and the routines it describes (as included on the accompanying diskette)
prove valuable in your GFA BASIC programming efforts. We've spent much time,
effort, and expense on the production of this manual and its software, so that
we can share with you our enthusiasm over this capable programming language. We
have tried our best to produce a high-quality product at the lowest possible
cost. We hope you are pleased with our efforts.

The GFA BASIC Toolkit, Volume 1 (hereinafter called the Toolkit)
consists of this manual and a disk-based collection of routines, functions, and
procedures that you can merge with your own GFA BASIC programs to add features
and capabilities that you might not otherwise have had access to. The routines
cover a variety of topics and have been chosen to meet the interests and needs
of most GFA BASIC users, from novice to intermediate levels of expertise.

Be sure to read the READ_ME test files on the Toolkit diskette, which
may contain last minute information or corrections to this manual. To read
these text files, insert the Toolkit diskette into your floppy disk drive, and
double-click on that drive's desktop icon to open its window. Find a READ_ME
file's icon, and then double-click on it with the left mouse button. Select
"SHOW" from the alert box that appears. Press the space bar on your keyboard to
page through the document until you have reached the end.
