Floppy disk controller

The cookie is normally installed by the driver software for floppy 
disk controllers of higher write-densities. The upper byte provides 
information about the type of highest write-density in the system. 
This can be:

  0  =  Normal floppy interface  (e.g. 720 kbyte disk) 
  1  =  High Density             (HD - 1,44 MByte) 
  2  =  Extra High Density       (ED - 2,88 MByte) 
 >2  =  Reserved 

The remaining three bytes provide information about who has set the 
cookie.
