As of kernel version 4.

mxk_mxalloc enables fast memory allocation, e.g. for a RAMdisk-XFS, 
without having to go via a trap.

pd specifies the process that is entered as the owner of the new 
block, therefore normally the basepage of the XFS driver should be 
passed.
