Syntax

LONG Finstat( handle )
WORD handle;

Function      Finstat() determines the input status of a file.

Opcode        261 (0x105)

Availability  This function is available under all MiNT versions
              integrated with MultiTOS.

Parameters    handle specifies the GEMDOS file handle of the file to
              return information about.

Binding       move.w   handle,-(sp)
              move.w   #$105,-(sp)
              trap     #1
              addq.l   #4,sp

Return Value  Finstat() returns 0 or a positive number of characters
              waiting to be read if successful. A negative GEMDOS error
              code is returned otherwise.

Caveats       Currently Finstat() always returns 0 for disk files.
